Did you know the WA Police Force have a CCTV register for people with CCTV systems to participate in?

CCTV footage has become an important investigative and evidentiary tool for the WA Police Force. To date the WA Police Force have found locating cameras to be a time-consuming and resource-intensive task.

In order to speed up this process the WA Police Force are wanting to work together with the community to establish an accurate and comprehensive register that identifies the location of as many CCTV systems as possible across WA. So, if you operate a CCTV system, you can help the WA Police Force build a safer environment and solve crimes by registering your details.
